Life+ OPERE project has visited the European Sustainable Week 2016, which has taken place in Brussels from 14 to 16 June 2016.
Life - OPERE has participated in this event coordinating different activities to build an energetic and sustainable future for Europe, such as attendance to conferences and workshops developed by EUSEW to achieve the objectives of the project.
The visit to the Networking Village, which is a place fitted out by EUSEW to stablish new contacts among participants in the event, has let share common knowledges, experiences and interests with other project managers and to identify platforms or "market place" specialized in smart cities or energy efficiency via smart buildings, which are important for OPERE because they help to access to information, new knowledges and to contact with communities which have more than 1.000 specialized entities.
On the other hand, attendance has let get information about new initiatives related to energy and sustainability which areorganized or supported by European Commission as well as new lines of credit for demonstration projects about energy and energy efficiency.
European Sustainable Energy Week is the most important event dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in Europe. It started in 2006 and it was organized by European Commission.
