After more than three years of progress, the Life - OPERE project has come to an end, and many lessons learned in the project from the technical point of view have been collected in the various publications of the project.
However in this case we would like to draw attention to one of the most important results achieved by the project: the establishment of a new methodology in the management of infrastructures of the USC, based on the framework of public-private cooperation between entities Promoters of the project (USC and Energylab), as well as in the internal cooperation between the different areas of the university community.
Undoubtedly, the teamwork of all members of the project, the sharing of different areas of knowledge and experience, the commitment to the objectives of the project, as well as their readiness to take on new challenges, has made possible a new way of work that will not be limited to the OPERE project, but aims to develop future collaborative initiatives.
Therefore, from OPERE we would like to express our gratitude to Energylab, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, the Institute of Technological Research, which directed the project, to the Singular Research Center in Information Technology for the participation of its team members in the project, the Energy and Sustainability Unit as well as the Infrastructure Area Maintenance Unit, for their technical contributions and support in the monitoring of environmental indicators, to the Office of Research and Technology for their support in the justificatory tasks , The Sustainable Development Office, for its participation in various promotion and dissemination initiatives and the Economic Management Service for its support in the administrative management of the project.
Note also that the OPERE project was made possible by the commitment made by the Rectorate and the Xerencia of the USC, without which it would not have been possible to execute it.
Finally, from the OPERE project, we would like to express our gratitude not only to the members of the work team, but to all those who have accompanied us during these intense months of work, contributing to the success of the project.
Many thanks to all for your efforts and collaboration!
