The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is celebrated every year in Europe since 2006 - the biggest event dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy in Europe. The EUSEW is the EU’s leading effort to promote secure, clean and efficient energy. Over a onemonth period (June), a series of activities have been organized in order to disseminate best practices, inspire new ideas and build alliances to help meet the energy and climate EU objectives.

Citizens will be also asked to vote for the best project from the nine preselected by the Technical Advisory Committee members. The 2016 Awards ceremony will be hosted in the European Commission’s Charlemagne building in Brussels (14-16 June).
